Pleurotus citrinopileatus is native to eastern Asia and is easily identified by its bright yellow caps. It naturally colonizes dead hardwood and performs well on hardwood sawdust and pellet-based substrates.
This saprophytic mushroom requires light and fresh air for proper fruit body formation. Fruiting bodies are delicate and should be harvested promptly after maturity.
