Details
Calocybe indica is a tropical mushroom native to the Indian subcontinent and one of the best species for cultivation in hot climates. It grows efficiently on paddy straw and other agricultural residues.
The species produces thick, fleshy fruiting bodies with excellent shelf life and performs well under temperatures that would inhibit many other gourmet mushrooms. Light is required to initiate proper fruit body formation.
