About this course

Who this is for

This course is for complete beginners who want a clear, reliable path from a culture to a harvest. It follows the same order every grow uses: culture to spawn to substrate to fruiting.

What you will learn

You will learn clean technique, how to make and use grain spawn, how to prepare and pasteurise substrate, and how to set up simple fruiting conditions. The focus is on oyster mushrooms, the most forgiving species to start with.

What you need

A pressure cooker, 70% isopropyl alcohol, a still air box, and a humid fruiting space. None of it is expensive, and most can be built or bought locally.
