How do I grow reishi mushrooms?
Reishi (Ganoderma) grows on supplemented hardwood sawdust and is grown for its firm, woody fruits rather than for eating fresh. Colonise at 24 to 27°C, then fruit warm at about 21 to 27°C. High carbon dioxide encourages tall antler forms, while more fresh air produces the classic flat conk. It is slow but forgiving and is used in teas and extracts.
