How do I grow mushrooms in a hot Indian summer?

In peak summer, choose heat-tolerant species and control the room rather than fighting the climate. Pink oyster, milky mushroom, and paddy straw fruit well at 25 to 35°C, so they suit most of India without cooling. Grow in a shaded, ventilated room, mist often or run a humidifier, and fruit in the cooler morning and evening hours. Save shiitake, button, and lion's mane for winter or a cooled space.
